Snazaroo Facepaint Review

We were kindly sent a pack of Snazaroo Facepaints to review.   If you haven’t heard about Snazaroo before it is the nations leading face paint brand. Snazaroo have recently launched their innovative face paint brush pens, the first in the industry.

This amazing product is a combination of a brush and pen with a precision nib which gives the user better control and accuracy, making face painting clean and easy.  Snazaroo Face paints are Paraben Free, Fragrance Free and made in the UK.
I had the choice of 5 different colour packs which were…

  • Adventure Pack: Contains red, gold and blue- ideal for superheroes, pirates and more.
  • Halloween Pack: Contains black, white and orange- a ‘spooktacular’ combination.
  • Fantasy Pack: Contains purple, pink and silver to conjure up the fairies, princesses and butterflies within.
  • Monochrome Pack: Contains two black brush pens and one white- historically the two most popular and versatile Snazaroo face paints.
  • Jungle Pack: Contains yellow, green and brown- perfect for transforming kids into the most fearsome of jungle creatures, such as lions, tigers and cheetahs.

I chose the Adventure Pack for my boys, Annabelle my daughter would have loved the Fantasy Pack which is ideal for little girls.  I haven’t used face paints on the children for years mainly because I found them so messy, it took ages to apply and the results were not the best.  I was surprised to find out that these face paints were in pen form so they were very easy and not at all messy to apply especially as I had 4 little faces to paint.  It has a easy to use twist base so I only used the right amount of paint.  Children could even use these paints with adult supervision.

Callums birthday was at the end of January which was brilliant timing as we were having a family party tea at his grandmas house.  The colours were red blue and gold which was perfect for the boys looking like superheros.
As Callum was the Birthday boy he had his face painted first, he choose to be spiderman, so I googled an easy picture and got started on my art creation.  It was so easy to apply, I didn’t need a lot of paint and the pen was amazing at colouring in big areas with the little brush.
Here are the Snazaroo Face Paint results…

Mums I know you will want to know…  how easy was the paints to remove?   I used a baby wipe to start with but had to use soap to get some stubborn bits off, overall it was very easy.  All Snazaroo products are suitable for sensitive skin types and specially formulated to be gentle on the skin.

I love the way these paints apply compared to tradition methods and they are easily stored away for another time.  There is no mixing with water and definitely no mess.  Snazaroo is ideal for parents like me, adults who want to paint their faces for festivals and fancy dress but also professional face painters who are keen to save time and mess.

The cost of the paints is £9.99 per pack which consists of three different colours and are available at Early Learning Centre stores nationwide. I Definitely recommend Snazaroo Facepaints .

I was sent the Face Paints Free in exchange for my honest review, I hope you enjoyed it.
